FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS
How long must I wait before I can walk on my carpets again?
Some people are uncomfortable when they want to clean their carpet because they want to walk on them right away. When we clean your carpets, it is best if you could stay off them a few hours.
Who needs to move the furniture?
Due to our workers' safety and liability issues upon any potential damages to your belongings, we can help you to move some light items like chairs.
Do you guarantee removal of all spots or stains in the carpet?
We cannot guarantee that we will remove all spots or stains. Some substances can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. The lifetime of the carpet and the type of carpet fibers is a big factor. Our pros will try to remove the stains, but they are not always able to tell it is removable before working on spots.
How often should my carpet be cleaned?
Based on the manufacturer's recommendation, the carpet needs to clean professionally at least once a year. However, that number does depend on how many people live in the house, traffic, a frequency of vacuuming, having pets, and children. Stain protecting like scotch guarding also makes a difference in how often you have to clean your carpets. We recommend twice a year cleaning and refreshing. It is best for your health and carpet endurance.
What should I do to prepare my home for carpet cleaning?
Any small items on the carpet, such as shoes, toys and newspapers, should be picked up before we arrive. Also, it is recommended that you vacuum if there is any noticeable debris on your carpet. We suggest that you clear your furniture of any breakables on them; such as picture frames, glass decorations or lamps. Beds, dressers, entertainment systems, china hutches, pianos, and other heavier pieces are usually left in place.
How long will it take my carpet to dry?
There are many factors that can affect the drying time of your carpet. Carpet material and type, humidity and air flow are all examples of these factors. Your carpet can take from 12 to 24 hours to be completely dry, however majority of carpets are dry within 3 to 6 hours. If necessary, you can walk on your carpet right away, but try to avoid it as much as possible right after cleaning. It is best to avoid heavy traffic on the carpet during the drying process. Also, try to keep your pets off of the carpet while it is drying. Some carpets may feel slightly damp for up to 18 hours depending on the carpet and soil conditions. This is normal and will not cause any problems. You should wait 24 hours before removing any foam blocks or protective barriers that our technicians have placed under your furniture to protect the carpet.
